4th of July on the Manteo Waterfront

As American As Apple Pie. That's how the saying goes, right?

If a slice of Americana is what you are looking for this Independence Day, then you will not be disappointed. The town of Manteo, NC celebrates all things American at their annual 4th of July Celebration on the Manteo Waterfront. You will find everything from an Apple Pie Contest, Decorated Baking Contest, and Whacky Hat Contest to great music from groups including Martin Terry, Echoes of Heritage, Old Enough to Know Better, and The Lost Colony Choir, with the National Anthem being sung by Megan Glover.

The festivities all start at 3pm and culminate with a beautiful fireworks display over the sound at dark. Just a short walk from the Inn, this Independence Day celebration is one that you don't want to miss!
