Lite Fare Dining Menu Offered Luxury North Carolina B&B

It isn't unusual for our B&B guests to arrive too late to make it into downtown Manteo, North Carolina for a bite to eat.   Other times they are simply ready to decompress, relax on our beautiful front porch with a light supper or take a picnic to the beach.  Chef Carol Thrift has helped us craft the perfect Lite Fare Dining Menu to accommodate our guests ... it may be hard to decide from the choices below!

Spring & Summer Lite Fare Menu
Available April through August 


Tomato & Mozzarella Caprese Salad
Sliced vine-ripened tomatoes and fresh Mozzarella Cheese with a hint of basil from The White Doe Inn Herb Garden served with a side of Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing, our special Italian Pesto and a French Baguette.
$12.00 per person

Watermelon Feta Salad
Tossed fresh Arugula, basil and watermelon with a balsamic vinegar/olive oil dressing and topped with crumbled feta cheese, red onions and served with a French Baguette.
$15.00 per person

Chicken & Tortellini Salad
For the meat lover, this delicious salad includes cheese filled tortellini, Grape tomatoes, English cucumber, arugula, and chicken tossed in a light olive oil/lemon based dressing, then topped with fresh Parmesan Cheese and served with a French Baguette.

White Doe Inn Garden Salad
Fresh locally grown vegetables filled with summer’s offerings. Served with an assortment of crackers.
$15.00 per person

French Brie Salad
For the brie lovers we have just the thing to satisfy your hunger. A rich creamy round of brie nestled among a bed of lettuce, surrounded with Granny Smith Apples Slices, sprinkled with almonds, served with a side of Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing and a French Baguette.

Each of these delectable salads are available to overnight guests of White Doe Inn who place their order 24 hours in advance of pick up from Chef Carol's kitchen here at the Inn!
