Outer Banks Seafood Festival in Nags Head, NC


It is no secret that the Outer Banks and seafood go together like apple pie and vanilla ice cream, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and movies and popcorn. Our little piece of heaven in North Carolina is a mecca for amazing seafood and the perfect way celebrate the bounty and love for it is with a festival!

The Outer Banks Seafood Festival will take place in Nags Head, NC on October 17, 2015. The festival gives the community and visitors a chance to honor and celebrate the area’s seafood heritage—it will be a fun and educational experience that the whole family will enjoy and if you are thinking that you are due for an Outer Banks retreat, this is a great reason to come on over. There is a great lineup of restaurants, Vendors, educational programs, and so much more—you don’t want to miss this!

At the cooking demonstrations you will learn fantastic new recipes you can try at home from talented local chefs and you will find over 40 artisan vendors with a huge variety of goods for sale. These talented artisans are not your run of the mill flea market vendors. You will find sterling silver jewelry, folk art, beach glass jewelry, ceramic pottery, stained glass, furniture, woodcarvings, photography, fine art, and so much more.
