Outer Banks Taste of the Beach – March 13-16, 2014

Food, food, glorious food! One of the sweet pleasures in life that brings together people from all walks of life; expands our horizons and stimulates our imaginations. Whether you are a foodie at heart, a professional chef seeking new tricks and tools or a visitor looking to take in the sights and tastes of The Outer Banks, this event is one you won’t want to miss.

This 4-day festival is centered on food, drinks and fun. With over 70 carefully and creatively planned events, you may have a hard time choosing which ones will top the list of your favorites to take in. Celebrity chefs, cooking classes, tastings, tours and themed dinners are just a few of the wonderful events to choose from.  A sampling of the events and activities include:

The Outer Banks Taste of the Beach offers a full website that allows you to search all events and times to plan a schedule that suits your taste buds. The hottest event will be The Sysco Foods Grand Tasting on Sunday, March 16th. This and other events are soon to sell out fast so visitors are encouraged to choose and purchase events as soon as possible.


While visiting Manteo, NC, guests of The White Doe Inn will want to make sure this festival is a priority. After your stomachs are full, the wines have been tasted and you have learned how to make new, delicious recipes – we will want to hear all about it!
