Sneak Peak ... New Fountain ... Landscaping to Follow

Many of you have heard me say that The White Doe Inn is a "work in progress"! It's true, we are always looking for ways to make your experience at the inn even better. This week we added a beautiful three-tier fountain in the front yard adjacent to the wrap-around porch on the Turret side with a lovely swing. You can see the new fountain as you approach the inn on Sir Walter Raleigh Street, you can enjoy it from the wrap-around porch while relaxing in the swing or, even better, you can enjoy the sound of it's waters cascading down from the three cherubs while relaxing on your private balcony from the Turret Bedroom .

This has been one of the "To Do's" on my list and I finally found just the fountain I have been looking for ... from Davenport Concrete in Conetoe, NC (located between Raleigh and Manteo, NC). An interesting place to stop if you are traveling from western NC to the Outer Banks.

We also sneaked in a really pretty Mermaid Statue at the edge of the fish pond that is located in the private garden located just outside the Garden Bedchamber's private entrance.

At the White Doe Inn we strive to please the senses; sight, smell, taste, sound and touch. You will find fountains located in the privite areas throughout the inn's gardens.
